    Castel Mimi is a select winery with roots deep in the history of national winemaking. Here you can take a guided tour of the winery, taste top Moldovan wines and traditional Moldovan dishes.The winery tour includes a visit to the gardens and interior of the castle, the historic cellars, the medieval garden and the evergreen labyrinth.
    Each winery tour allows guests to discover the fascinating story behind Mimi Castle and taste some of the finest Moldovan wines. The winery tour includes an exciting walk through the cellars, gardens, courtyard and production area of the winery. The wine tour ends with guided wine tastings that will give you a great sensory experience. All our tours, with one exception, also include a selection of traditional Moldovan gourmet dishes.

    Family Tour // from 300 MDL
    • The winery tour includes a visit to the gardens and interior of the castle, the historic cellars, the medieval garden and the evergreen labyrinth.
    • Dishes: the traditional dessert "Babă Neagră'' with vanilla cream and at your choice, you can enjoy a coffee or tea.
    • Tour duration: 80 minutes

     

    * We also provide free scooters for the little ones, who can use them on the territory (Within the available stock).


    * The price of this tour is 300 lei / person, and if you want to additionally enjoy Castel Mimi wines, we have a special offer - tasting three wines at a price of only 100 lei.

    • The winery tour includes a visit of the chateau's gardens and interiors, of the historical wine cellars, and the middle age garden and hedge maze.
    • Taste 3 amazing Castel Mimi wines: Sânzienele 2020 / Rară Neagră Rosé 2021 /  Frați 2018. 
    • Tour duration: 70 minutes
    Iconic Tour // from 550 MDL
    • The winery tour includes a visit to the chateau's gardens and interiors, the historical wine cellars, the wine production area, and the middle age garden and hedge maze. 
    • Taste 5 amazing Castel Mimi wines: Sânzienele 2020 / Cucoanele 2021 / Rară Neagră Rosé 2020 / Mâini în Șold 2018 / Roșu de Bulboaca 2018.
    • Taste 7 traditional Moldovan and gourmet food appetizers: gravlax salmon with black bread / tomme cheese handmade with pear / pâté with almond rye cracker / mozzarella with cherry tomatoes and olives /  and roast beef with wine sauce.
    • Tour duration: 90 minutes
    Authentic Tour // from 790 MDL
    • The winery tour includes a visit to the chateau's gardens and interiors, the historical wine cellars, the wine production area, and the middle age garden and hedge maze. 
    • Taste 4 amazing Castel Mimi wines: Sânzienele 2020 / Rară Neagră Rosé 2020 / Sfaditele 2018 / Viorica de Bulboaca 2020.
    • Taste traditional Moldovan and gourmet food plates: traditional Moldovan chicken noodle soup - Zeama / pork stew served with mamaliga / ship cottage salty cheese and sour cream / traditional cabbage rolls with corn and rice filling - Sarmale / traditional "Babă Neagră" dessert garnished with Castel Mimi Cabernet Sauvignon & local plum jam and vanilla sauce.
    • Tour duration: 110 minutes
  • TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR EACH WINERY TOUR

    • Wine tours must be pre-booked online at +373 265 0 1893 or by email at [email protected].

    • The last tour starts at 16:30. For tours starting later, you will be charged an additional 100 MDL per person.

    • Children between 5 and 12 years old accompanied by an adult get free admission. Teenagers aged 13 to 18 will be charged 100 MDL per person. Children and teenagers cannot participate in the wine tasting.

    • If you are late for the tour, Castel Mimi SRL reserves the right to cancel your visit without prior notice or to limit your tour time.

    • Castel Mimi reserves the right to change the content and/or prices of the packages depending on the availability and/or costs of products and raw materials on the market.

    • Each portion of wine, included in the tour package, is 100 ml.

    • Castel Mimi SRL can combine several smaller groups of tourists, speaking the same language, into a larger group.

    • The time limit for a tour is approximately but cannot exceed 3 hours.
