  • Eco-Resort Butuceni

Village life is not complete without a detour where dozens of domestic animals live and nibble all day long. Eco-Resort Butuceni is no exception. In fact, the park here is more like a zoo, except that the animals have freedom, grow in the heart of nature and are fed organic grain.
At the guesthouse you can find not only chickens, but also geese, ducks, ponies, cows, horses, goats. Everyone is welcome to try the housekeeping guild, starting with feeding them, riding the cart or the pheasant and ending with collecting eggs or, why not - milking the cow?
It's a favourite activity for families with children. The visit also includes a horse-drawn carriage ride.

    Traditional Carpet Weaving Workshop

The hotel complex reproduces the national rustic style, the courtyard is arranged in the same way as the ancestors did: with laits, shrânciob and gazebos. The houses covered with shingles have rooms arranged in the same traditional ancestral style with elements such as: laurels, carpets and embroidered pillows and, of course, the traditional stove in which the aroma of wood is combined with modern comforts.  You will be greeted by a handful of welcoming people who aim to spread national traditions in all corners of the world.   Moldova has a very rich cultural heritage, reflected in the finest art through ceramics, textile and various handicraft. Carpets have a separate and special place in its culture. You’ll have the opportunity to go back to the times of the ancestors, through the objects kept in the pensions' exhibition, or through the restored peasant households. Every object, stone or work tool can tell the origin of the Moldovan people.   Participate in this traditional carpet weaving workshop and craft your own little carpet.
